Rudy came to us from the UK in December of 2019. Everything about him is impressive. He has the nicest bone structure and build of any Labrador I’ve ever seen and a thick coat as you’d expect from a Labrador. His temperament is what I’ve come to expect out of a British Labrador. He’s a pleasure to have in the house and is great with my wife and young kids.
In the field, he is focused and driven. It’s a joy to watch such a powerful dog work. He handles as you would expect from such a well trained dog and we are excited to get him out on hunts later this season and into the future. At this point it will not surprise us if he turns out to be a once in a lifetime type dog. He is the total package.
Rudy weighs 71 lbs, his hips are BVA 5/4, elbows BVA 0/0, and he’s DNA clear of PRA, CNM, EIC, and HNPK. He carries SD2.
Rudy is available at stud for live cover here at Gray Light Kennels. Frozen straws and fresh chilled is also available by request. Please contact us by email or phone for more details.
Milo came to Gray Light Kennels in the fall of 2019 from the UK. He is proving to be a very talented dog and has a friendly disposition to match. He just finished his training with Andrew at Precision Gundogs in getting his HRCH title! He will spend the season with Andrew enjoying some hunting to get some real world experience. Afterward, he will come home to GLK!
Simply put, Milo is a bit of a rarity in the US. You won’t find a nicer, more well bred chocolate British stud in the states. He is sired by a promising, young working test winner and has many FTCHs and FTWs in his pedigree.
Milo is available for stud to approved females, but due to him currently being in IL, extra planning must take place to accommodate for live cover. Please email or call us if interested in using him as a stud in the future so we can work with Andrew in advance to ensure Milo’s availability.
